Most people have the wrong idea that teaching is
one of the simpler professions. Teachers are only bettering themselves to meet
the many obstacles they face every day as this great profession evolves. Teaching jobs requires perseverance, commitment, enthusiasm, and the capacity to
accomplish more with less. There are sometimes as many troughs as there are
peaks on this perilous voyage. Those that are committed to the field do so only
out of a desire to make a difference.
We have good reasons to doubt that teaching is
among the most difficult professions:
- The
rivalry
An excellent teacher's role is
to speed up the learning process. People frequently believe that teaching is
easy because that is the main purpose of teachers. They don't realize that
teachers are under constant pressure to conduct outstanding lessons. In the
end, the competition is what it is. There are plenty of teachers, and there has
recently been a proliferation of private institutions. The pupil is allowed to
seek an alternative if the teacher is unable to satisfy them.
- Not
all instructors are tech-savvy
The pressure is beginning to
mount on bright instructors who are not up to speed on the latest technological
developments. Many people believe that education will continue to be done
online for a very long time while the coronavirus pandemic takes worrying
dimensions. For teachers who, due to their age, are unable to manage electronic
devices effectively, it's a matter of life or death.
- No set
timetable
There is no set schedule for
teachers. The teachers are merely required to follow the students' decisions,
giving the impression that the students now have the upper hand when it comes
to setting the schedule of sessions. On a day when he feels unwell, an instructor
could have scheduled twelve sessions. But on days when he feels healthy and
strong, he might only attend one or two sessions. Teachers are also working
longer hours than ever before, with some staying in the classroom until ten
o'clock at night.
- Zero
privacy
The life of a teacher is brought
up in conversation with students. Although it is nothing to worry about, a good
teacher shouldn't. It might be difficult for an instructor to keep his personal
life private because many pupils take a strong interest in learning as much as
they can about a professor they admire.
